If you are interested in meeting a pet, it is by appointment only.
Please call the shelter at 508-822-1463 to set up a time to visit.
There are also other ways that you can help.
The shelter is currently in need of:
Volunteers, foster families for cats, and the following Wish List items:
Disinfectant, Bleach, Paper Towels, Laundry Detergent, Trash Bags.
Canned and Dry Dog Food, Canned & Purina Dry Kitten Food, Purina Dry Cat Food, Small/Mini Bite Dry Dog Food, Freeze Dried Dog Training Treats.
Martingale Collars and Easy Walk Harnesses.
Items may be dropped off at the Taunton Animal Shelter, 821 W. Water Street, Taunton, MA. 02780 during the Shelter hours:
12 noon and 5 p.m., Tuesday through Thursday
12 noon and 4pm on Fridays
12 noon to 3pm on Saturdays

Share some special holiday cheer and love with a pet currently awaiting a new home and family at the Taunton Animal Shelter!!! (www.tauntonshelter.petfinder.com)
This event will run from 11/1 – 12/24/24.
Make a donation in honor of a particular pet at the shelter and/or deliver/send a special toy/treat/gift for the pet of your choice. (This can also be done as a special “gift” for someone and/or in memory of someone ! )

(Your name and the name of the pet of your choice will be noted on the Taunton Shelter website and also at the shelter itself. In addition, you will receive a special photo of the pet you have chosen to sponsor. )
